Awami League supported blue panel gets inevitable majorities over Dhaka University senate election 2017 on Monday.
Blue panel led by Prof Dr Nazma Shaheen won 32 of the 35 memberships. BNP-Jamaat supported white panel led by Prof Akhtar Hossain Khan got two memberships.
Treasurer Prof Dr Kamal Uddin maintained the duty of election commissioner. The election started at 9am and ended at 1pm.
A total of 1,590 teachers cast votes.
