Southeast Bank Foundation provided scholarship to 200 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) level students coming from financially disadvantaged families.
They organised a reception for the students at Officers’ Club in Dhaka on Sunday.
Chairman of Southeast Bank Limited Alamgir Kabir presided over the programme as the chief guest, while directors of the bank MA Kashem and Azim Uddin Ahmed were present as special guests.
The Southeast Bank Foundation initiated the scholarship programme for needy meritorious students in 2009 as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The Foundation has distributed the scholarship among 1317 secondary level students and 1922 higher secondary level students so far.
