Dhaka University (DU) authorities have extended the suspension of classes and examinations at the university till further notice in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19 infection.
Confirming the matter on Thursday, a DU press release signed by Public Relation Officer Mahmood Alam also added that further notice will be served at least three days before resumption of academic activities at the university.
In line with general holidays issued by government, the handout said, the university offices will also remain closed till April 14. The emergency services will be excluded from the vacation.
This is the third time the DU authorities had extended the ongoing suspension of academic activities.
Previously, DU had suspended classes and exams from March 18 to March 31, which was later extended till April 14.
