The 4th Annual General Meeting of Agami Education Foundation, a sister organisation of Agami Inc., USA, was successfully held at a city hotel in Dhaka on February 9, 2019.
The curtain was risen by the AEF President M Mosihuzzaman, who delivered a welcome note, followed by an interactive presentation of the overall update of AEF activities by the Executive Director Nafisa Khanam.
Different project leads accompanied her in presenting their respective parts.
Nafisa projected an overall portfolio of the organisation, while expressing concerns that getting funds for a voluntary organisation has always been a crucial challenge.

Later on, the financial report and budget stuffs were discussed by Dr. Tazkera Khanom, Director of Finance, where importance was given upon transparency and accountability.
The goal of reaching out to underprivileged children across Bangladesh with quality education is the key focus of AEF, which believes in the uniqueness of every child.
M Abdur Rahman Khan, Director of Administration, moderated the meeting.
The attendees shared this opinion, and their presence – numbering around 37 individuals including AEF Executive Committee members, staff and volunteers – had contributed in the success of the meeting.

Ahmed Ahsan, Director of Policy Research Institute in Dhaka and former Lead Economist of World Bank in Washington DC, attended the programme and shared some valuable thoughts with the members.
Obaidur Sattar, Specialist, Bangladesh Examination Development Unit, SESIP, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Razia Begum, Teachers’ Educator, Teachers Training College, Dhaka were present alongside Nazmul Haque Khan, Managing Director, SUVASTU Development Limited.
Shawkat Hossain, Vice President, passed along the vote of thanks.
In the concluding speech he urged all to work together and extend necessary support to fulfill the dream of AEF for the wellbeing of underprivileged children particularly for their education.
The programme ended with photo session followed by dinner.
