Organised by the Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College (BMARPC) science club in collaboration with the University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh (ULAB), the event is scheduled to continue till March 11.
According to the organisers, the festival will have nine segments and more than 2500 participants from major colleges, including Dhaka College, Notre Dame College, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College and Holy Cross College, are expected to attend and display their projects.
The projects will be presented under four categories – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Information Technology.
In addition to the science fair, there will be a Science Olympiad, photography exhibition, wall magazine display, IQ Test, Rubik’s Cube Competition, Ultimate Sudoku, extempore speech, and quiz competition.
The programmes will run from 8:30am till 4:45pm each day. Organisers are hopeful that the fair will draw more than 5000 visitors.
