Ban on non-candidates within 600ft of exam venues during HSC

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued a ban on people near HSC exam venues when the exams are underway. On Saturday, a press release was issued, stating that under sections 28 and 29 of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No- III/1976), Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah has issued the ban which will prevent anyone who is not a candidate to steer clear of the venues. The ban will go into effect from April 2 and continue till the exams are over. The 2018 Higher Secondary Exam (HSC)/Diploma in Business Studies, HSC (Vocational), HSC (BM), diploma in Commerce, and alim madrasa exams will start from April 4 in Dhaka.
