After the 2018 SSC exams saw question leaks for every major subject, the government faced severe criticism for not doing enough to prevent it. Taking the lesson to heart, the Ministry of Education has announced a number of deterrent measures.
On Wednesday, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid unveiled the initiatives to the press.
In addition to announcing the new measures to prevent leaks, he also asked parents of the candidates to keep an eye on them. He further asked teachers to cooperate with students and their parents alike.

The deterrent measures are as follows:
-Candidates will have to reach the venue 30 minutes before exams start
-The official in charge of the venue will find out which set to use 25 minutes before exams start
-Only the official in charge can enter the venue with a mobile phone, but it cannot have a camera
