BIBM’s MBM admission test on November 10

The admission test for students wishing to enrol in the Masters in Bank Management (MBM) programme under the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) for 2018 will be held on November 10 this year. The application process began on October 1 and will continue till November 05, BIBM Publication and Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Al Mamun Khan told the Dhaka Tribune. The MBM Programme, a professional post-graduate program for bank officers and others who plan for a career in banking and related fields, is affiliated with Dhaka University (DU) and conducted by the Dhaka School of Bank Management (DSBM), an organ of BIBM. The programme emphasises the development of skills for managing banks and financial institutions, as well as on helping people who plan a career in other organisations dealing with financial and credit activities. The programme is geared towards educating students to make innovative, informed and creative choices on policy, operation and execution in banks and financial institutions, while keeping the macro-economic environment in mind.

Who are eligible for admission?

Completion of a minimum sixteen years of schooling from any discipline, with at least one first division score and no third division score in any certificate or degree examination.

The application process:

Applicants can apply both online as well as by submitting hardcopies of application forms. For online applications, one has to visit admission.bibm.org.bd. Those who want to apply by submitting hardcopies can get a form along with a prospectus and sample question paper at the DSBM office (3rd floor, BIBM Academic Building) from 10:00am to 06:00pm every day with the exception of public holidays.
