The Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden is hosting Cantonese Food Festival with grandeur, offering Dhaka citizens a taste of the authentic Cantonese cuisine.
The festival kicked off on Thursday and has already drawn an impressive number of prominent personalities. The venue has been decorated with Southern Chinese decorations to create the ambiance that matches Guangzhou food traditions.
In a press statement, Radisson Blue Dhaka General Manager Christoph Voegeli said the festival was a part of the hotel's plan to become the top F&B hotel in Bangladesh.
“In the beginning of this year, we aimed to become the number one F&B hotel in the country. And, based on achievements and guests comments, we can confirm that we are on the right track. This grand event will also add another feather to the crown.”
The festival will run until August 19.
Mostly originated from the Guangzhou city of China, Cantonese is a globally popular Chinese regional cuisine. The dishes are made with fresh seafood, homemade dim sums, special duck meat, chicken, soups, herbs and spices.
A wide range of different Cantonese recipes will be available at the festival.
