A 32-year-old man was killed in a road accident in front of Terminal 3 of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Ashraful Alam, son of the late Moksed Ali, from Kalni village under Joydebpur Police Station in Gazipur.
According to his cousin Hasan Al Arif, Ashraful was riding a motorcycle around 11:15pm when he was struck by a pickup van in front of Terminal 3. He died on the spot.
After being notified, Hasan, with assistance from Airport Police, recovered the body and took it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 2:15 am on Sunday following legal procedures.
Constable Ismail of Airport Police Station, who was present at the DMCH morgue, said the body has been kept for autopsy.
