The AIUB Inter College Cricket Championship 2025 officially commenced on Sunday at the sports field of the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB).
Organized by the AIUB Office of Sports in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), the championship brings together 32 colleges from across Dhaka city, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms Nadia Anwar, honorable chairman and founder member of the Board of Trustees, AIUB.
Prof Dr Manzur H Khan, proctor, AIUB; Dr Ziarat H Khan, deputy director, Student Services and Welfare; Major (Retd) Faiz-Ul-Bari Rajon, deputy director, Administration; Abu Miah Akhanda Tuhin, head of Public Relations; and Md Joynal Abedin, coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB, were present at the event.
The ceremony also witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and administrative officials.
This prestigious tournament serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing emerging cricket talent and promoting inter-institutional unity and sportsmanship.
