The Detective Branch (DB) of the police apprehended 11 members of the Awami League during a procession in the capital’s Gulistan area on Sunday afternoon.
DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the matter, saying that the detainees were taken to the DB office.
The government recently banned all activities of the Awami League, along with its front, associate, and allied organizations.
