An electric shuttle bus service has been launched on the Dhaka University campus, aiming to ensure safer and more convenient transportation for students.
Four electric shuttle cars will operate daily from 8am to 8pm under an initiative supported by the Green Future Foundation.
The fare for a ride has been set between Tk10 and Tk20, depending on the route.
Each shuttle car, with a seating capacity of 14, will have a volunteer on board to assist passengers during the journey.
Initially, the shuttle cars will run on four designated routes across the campus.
