On the occasion of the upcoming Pohela Boishakh, the Dhaka University Station of the metro rail will remain closed for four hours on Monday.
This information was provided by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) on Friday.
According to sources from DMTCL, the station will be closed on that day from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The decision was made at a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday. As per the decision, the station will be reopened after 12:00pm on Pohela Baishakh, and passengers will be able to board and disembark from the metro rail there as usual.
