Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, it was reported that 40,94,621 people left Dhaka on March 28 and 29, while 12,00,336 people entered the capital during the same period, according to mobile SIM usage data.
Telecommunication sources said that this data has been determined by analyzing the network information of mobile operators.
Typically, the movement of people is monitored by tracking the change in SIM card locations and usage.
