Gas supply will be suspended for six hours in several areas of Dhaka on Sunday due to ongoing gas pipeline relocation work, according to a notice issued by Titas Gas on Saturday.
Titas Gas authorities stated that the relocation work is necessary to accommodate the underground stations (Airport and Khilkhet) of MRT Line-1 under Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited. As a result, gas supply will be completely suspended for all types of consumers from Kamarpara Bridge area to Balaka Bhaban in Dhaka Metropolitan from 8am to 2pm on Sunday.
Additionally, areas including all sectors of Uttara, Uttarkhan, Dakshinkhan, and nearby regions may experience low gas pressure during this period.
Titas Gas has apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
