A joint force operation carried out at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to eliminate "brokers and fraudsters" on Thursday morning resulted in the detention of over 50 individuals.
Inspector Md Faruk of the DMCH police outpost said the operation, led by Executive Magistrate Afrin Jahan, carried out the operation to eradicate brokers and fraudsters from DMCH.
Over 50 individuals were detained for questioning, he said, adding that many of them were sentenced to varying terms of imprisonment.
