The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will provide escort services to ensure the safe transportation of large amounts of money during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
"If any person, bank, or financial institution feels that they need police assistance to transfer a large amount of money, we will provide them with escort services," said DMP Assistant Commissioner (AC-media) Jahangir Kabir.
The DMP advised people to contact the relevant police station, the police control room, or the National Emergency Number 999 to receive the services.
