Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, has said that the interim government is actively engaging with foreign agencies to establish skill development centers in Bangladesh.
"We are assessing the logistical support these organizations require," Alam said at a press conference in Dubai on Thursday, according to a message received last night.
Addressing a question, he acknowledged that the challenges faced by Bangladeshi expatriates in the UAE cannot be resolved overnight.
However, he assured that the government is working sincerely to address these issues.
Alam emphasized that one of the government’s key priorities is to develop skilled manpower and facilitate their employment opportunities abroad.
During his visit to Dubai, the Chief Adviser participated in a community engagement program, where he listened to the concerns of Bangladeshi expatriates.
Discussions focused on visa and labor-related issues, as well as the broader challenges expatriates face in the UAE.
Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, was also present at the press conference.
