Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman held a courtesy meeting with Pakistan’s high commissioner to Dhaka, Syed Ahmed Maroof.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Pakistani high commissioner and his delegation visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Moghbazar, Dhaka.
During the visit, they engaged in a courtesy meeting and exchanged views.
According to a press release signed by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Publicity Department representative, Mujibul Alam, the discussion covered issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Both parties expressed their views on strengthening bilateral relations between the two fraternal nations in the future.
