As part of initiatives taken by Wasa to enhance security, a ban has been imposed on the entry of outsiders without a pass into Dhaka Wasa.

This information was provided by Dhaka Wasa sources on Friday.

Prior to this, Dhaka Wasa's Secretary, Mashiur Rahman Khan, issued an office order to provide instructions on the matter.

In the office order, Secretary Mashiur Rahman Khan said that, as per the decisions of the meeting, several measures have been taken to strengthen security and prevent fire hazards at Dhaka Wasa.

Among these initiatives, it was said that no outsider will be allowed to enter any Dhaka Wasa institution without a pass.

Additionally, the order said that all officers and employees must carry their ID cards to enter, and visitors must obtain temporary ID cards, which should be displayed visibly.

The implementation of a modern fire safety system in the Wasa building is mandatory, and security operations at all Wasa establishments must be monitored around the clock to ensure their effectiveness.
