A motorcycle accident in Dhaka's Kakrail claimed the life of a college student, Tasnim Ferdous, 20, and left another, Tamim Rahman, 19, injured.
The incident occurred around 8pm on Saturday when their motorcycle lost control.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Mizanur Rahman of Ramna police station confirmed the accident, adding that Tasnim died on the spot while Tamim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Tasnim, a student at Titumir College, was the son of Ismail Mia from Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj.
Tamim, who survived the crash, is a computer engineering student at Southeast University. Both were residing in Wari.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
