The admission test for the science unit of Dhaka University for the 2024-25 session, originally scheduled for February 1, will now be held on February 15 due to the Bishwa Ijtema.
This change was confirmed on Wednesday by Professor Mostafizur Rahman, the convener of the university's online admission committee.
He explained that the decision was made to avoid the unexpected traffic congestion and inconvenience for students.
Online applications for the admission test began on November 4 at 12pm and will continue until November 25 at 11:59pm.
As of 4:30pm on Wednesday, a total of 162,000 applications had been submitted for all units.
