Police recovered 25 cocktail-like devices from behind the Wasa water tank office in Fulbaria, Dhaka, on Saturday night.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Bomb Disposal Unit later neutralized the devices.
DMP Deputy Commissioner of Public Relations and Media Branch Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the information on Sunday night.
According to police sources, a local resident noticed the devices near a tree by the Wasa water tank, adjacent to the BRTC ticket counter, and reported to Bangshal police at around 9:30pm.
A team from Bangshal police responded to the scene and alerted the Bomb Disposal Unit of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit, who arrived around 11pm.
The devices were safely disabled at Suritola Model Government Primary School grounds.
Police are investigating the incident, and further legal action is underway.
