A youth was killed on Wednesday afternoon after being crushed between two buses in front of the Elish bus counter in Jatrabari, Dhaka.
The identity of the victim is yet to be determined.
He was wearing a white and black printed long-sleeve shirt and pants. His age is estimated to be around 28 years.
Inspector Md Faruq from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost confirmed.
Md Samrat, an employee at the counter who brought the victim to the hospital, said: “In the afternoon, an Elish Paribahan bus was leaving the counter, and a BMF Paribahan bus was entering.”
“At that moment, the young man got severely injured after being crushed between the two buses. He was rushed to DMCH, where he passed away," he said.
Md Faruq added: "The body has been kept at the hospital morgue."
