The fire on Benapole Express train in Dhaka’s Gopibagh has been doused, but rescue operation is being hampered due to the crowd gathered at the spot.
Despite warnings and pleas over the microphone, rescue teams from the fire service and RAB were unable to disperse the crowd that gathered around the train.
Till the last update, smoke was still coming out of the train. Law enforcement and rescuers fear more bodies could be found inside.
Earlier on Friday at 9pm, the Benapole Express train was set on fire by miscreants.
At least four people died in the incident.
