A fire broke out in a shop in the Nazirabazar area of Old Dhaka early on Monday.
Fire service official Shahjahan Sikder said three firefighting units had been dispatched to put out the blaze.
The fire at the shop, located near the famous Beauty Lacchi and Faluda shop, was brought under control at 12:42am, he said, adding that the fire service was trying to find out the cause of the fire.
