BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi expressed deep concern over the attempt by an unidentified and suspicious individual to enter the cabin of BNP chairperson and three-time former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.
In a statement on Sunday, Rizvi said: "The countrymen are surprised to know why her security is kept so weak even though she is in a safe place like a hospital for a long time seriously ill.”
He further added: "How an unidentified youth tried to enter the cabin by breaking through its security fence is very mysterious and has created deep doubts in the public’s mind. People have also raised questions about whether the young man's attempt to enter the country leader's cabin in the hospital was part of a deeper conspiracy or not."
Expressing sadness and deep concern, Rizvi urged for the reinforcement of Khaleda Zia's security in the hospital.
