Miscreants set fire to three buses of Shikhor Paribahan in Kalabagan, Trust Paribahan in Mirpur-13, and Rajanigandha Paribahan in Gulistan on Saturday night.
Two fire service units reached the spot after receiving the information about the bus fire at Kalabagan at 10:50pm on Saturday and began extinguishing the fire.
Miscreants set fire to two more buses in the capital after 9pm on the same day.
Rashid bin Khalid, duty officer of the fire service headquarters, confirmed that the bus was set on fire in Kalabagan.
Earlier, miscreants set fire to a Trust Paribahan bus in Mirpur-13 area around 10:30pm. After receiving information, two fire service units reached the spot and started working to extinguish the fire.
Besides, a bus of Rajanigandha Paribahan was set on fire near Gulistan Toll Plaza at 9:15pm.
Later, two fire service units extinguished the fire around 9:30pm.
No casualties were reported.
