A bus was set ablaze in the Gulistan area of Dhaka on Tuesday during a hartal called by the BNP.
The arson of the Malancha bus took place near the GPO in Gulistan at around 1pm, fire service official Anwar Hossain said.
Two firefighting units were on the spot trying to put out the flames, he said, adding that no casualty had been reported so far.
Tuesday’s hartal–the fourth in a series enforced by the BNP, besides several blockades, since October 29– began at 6am and will end at 6pm.
