A group of miscreants set fire to a staff bus of Shilpa Bank in Dhaka’s Motijheel area on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place around 3:30pm, said Duty Officer Ershad Hossain of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot.
However, the fire was reportedly extinguished by local people, said the duty officer.
Motijheel police station Inspector Belal Hossain said: “Some seats of the bus were burnt in the fire. The fire was extinguished and the bus was immediately removed from the spot.”
