Miscreants set fire to a bus of Baishakhi Paribahan in Shyamoli area of the city on Monday afternoon.
The bus came under attack at 3:45pm, confirmed Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
On information, two firefighting units from Kallyanpur Fire Station went to the spot to douse the fire under police protection.
However, locals and passengers of the bus managed to douse the fire before the fire fighters arrived
