The Dhaka metro rail authorities have announced a new schedule for the trains, which will be effective from November 5.
From that day onwards, the trains will be operational from Uttara to Agargaon from 7:30am to 8:30pm, instead of the current 8:30am to 8:30pm timetable.
MAN Siqqique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), which owns the Dhaka metro rail, made the announcement on Wednesday.
After the launch of the Agargaon-Motijheel section, trains will run on that part for four hours – from 7:30am to 11:30am, he said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Agargaon-Motijheel section of MRT Line 6 on November 4. It will be open to the public from November 5.
