PM's Assistant Private Secretary (APS) Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku, on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's instructions, on Saturday afternoon visited BNP leader Amanullah Aman, who is undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).
He also gave the ailing BNP leader lunch, a fruit basket and juice sent by the prime minister.
Liku told Aman: "The prime minister sent these food, fruits and juice for you and inquired about your health. She also wished you a speedy recovery.”
The prime minister's APS also said if Amanullah Aman wants to go to any other hospital in the country for treatment, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will make the necessary arrangements.
Amanullah accepted the gifts from the prime minister and thanked her for her humanity and political etiquette.
PMO“I was put to sleep with medication while I was in the hospital with injuries,” Aman said at the hospital. I didn't know who had come to see him at the time and had passed the fruit basket,” he said after getting out of the hospital.
He added that he will continue the movement till the government resigns.
Aman fainted and fell on the ground during the BNP's sit-in in Gabtoli on Saturday morning.
Later, he was picked up in a police vehicle from the spot.
