Minister Obaidul Quader hospitalized with chest pain

Senior Awami League leader and Cabinet member Obaidul Quader was taken to a Dhaka hospital with chest pain.
Quader, who is in charge of road transport ministry, has been admitted to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Tuesday morning, said a party spokesperson.
“He was hospitalized after he complaining of chest pain,” Awami League Office Secretary Biplab Barua told the UNB.
Quader, who serves as the ruling party’s general secretary, had undergone a bypass surgery in March 2019 at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore after for three block were detected in his coronary artery.
