The fire-affected traders of Bangabazar market are taking preparations to resume their business at the fire incident site.
Makeshift stalls will be set up to sell clothes on the site.
The site is being prepared for the traders under the supervision of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Chief Engineer Saleh Ahmed, led by Zone-1 Regional Executive Engineer Mithun Chandra Shil with the full cooperation of the probe committee formed by DSCC.
DSCC Public Relations Officer Abu Naser confirmed the information at around 12:30pm on Tuesday.
According to the target of preparation, sand and bricks will be placed across 1.79 acres of land of Bangabazar. Already 40 vehicles of sand and about 90,000 bricks have been laid. There will be more 150 vehicles of sand and 250,000 bricks in the entire area.
The concerned officials of the corporation are working tirelessly to complete the task by Tuesday.

Besides, since Monday morning, the waste removal process from the fire site is ongoing, the DSCC official added.
The waste removal work is being conducted under the leadership of the corporation's Chief Waste Management Officer Md Haider Ali.
So far, 1,060 tons of waste has been removed from the fire site.
Waste removal operations are still ongoing, said the public relation officer.
The fire at Bangabazar Shopping Complex in Dhaka was completely doused three days after the incident on April 4.
The devastating blaze also spread to some other nearby markets, burning several thousand shops, mainly ready-made garment and footwear stores, to ashes. The blaze made thousands of traders paupers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
A total of six adjacent markets were also burnt.
The other six markets are--Gulistan Market, Annex tower, Mohanagar shopping complex, Adarsha market, Banga Islami Market and Barisal Plaza.
