The police recovered the body of a 70-year-old man under the Agargaon metro rail station in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The deceased was Shahbuddin, a rickshaw puller hailing from Tarail upazila of Kishoreganj, according to Sub-Inspector (SI) Mansoor Ali of Sher-e-Bangla police station.
Shahbuddin died around 11:45am on Wednesday, the police officer told Bangla Tribune.
“It seems he died of natural causes. He dropped a passenger off at the metro rail station and sat under there. Later, he died in that place,” the SI said.
Since there was no complaint from the family, the body was handed over to Shahbuddin's son Enamul Haque, he added.
