Another plastic factory caught fire just adjacent to the one in the Chawkbazar area of Dhaka that was put out on Monday.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control at around 7:30pm on Monday
A Fire Service official confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune in the evening.
He said: “We are assuming that the first plastic factory’s fire spread to the second one as there was a lot of smoke.”

Meanwhile, a total of six people died in a fire that broke out at a plastic factory on Monday.
As many as 10 firefighting units brought the fire under control around 2:30pm.
Firefighters recovered the six charred bodies after the blaze was tamed in the afternoon.
All six victims were workers at a hotel located right below the factory.
The Fire Service said that the fire originated around 12:30pm from the cylinder of a Barisal hotel which is located on the bottom floor of the three-storied building.
