A young man has been hit and killed by a train in the Kuril area of Dhaka.
The Egaro Sindhur Provati train, which had left Kishoreganj for Dhaka, struck Md Babu, 23, on the railway line along Kuril Bishwa Road at 4:58pm on Thursday, said Sub-Inspector Md Ali Akbar of the Railway Police.
The police recovered and later handed over the body to the deceased's family without an autopsy, at their request.
