With the area-based power cuts coming into effect, Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) announced the locations that would be subjected to an hour of load shedding on Thursday.
DPDC also highlighted the area-specific schedule for power cut in a statement released on Wednesday.
Earlier, State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid confirmed on Monday that one-hour nationwide load shedding will begin from Tuesday to minimize energy subsidies.
