Three people have been killed in Dhaka’s Uttara after a truck hit a motorcycle, say police.
The incident was reported early morning on Thursday on the road in front of the Amir Complex shopping mall, said Inspector Yasin Gazi of the Uttara West Police Station.
Two people, including a woman, were killed on the spot. The third victim was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said the police officer.
The victims have been initially identified as Azufa, Enamul and Anik, but no other details were available, said Inspector Bachchu Mia of the hospital’s police outpost.
According to him, the three were on their way to visit a sick relative, when the accident occurred.
