The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has sought the details of the wealth of its employees under the Customs, Vat and Tax departments.
In a letter on January 25, NBR asked all employees to fill out a form containing the details of all assets, NBR Public Relations office confirmed to Dhaka Tribune.
The employees have been asked to comply with the request on an urgent basis.
Currently, the NBR employs nearly 13,500 employees who have to file their tax returns every year.
