A teenage boy, who was undergoing treatment for dengue at a Dhaka hospital, has died after falling down from a fifth-floor balcony, police has said.
The incident was reported on Thursday from the Dhaka National Medical Institute Hospital in Old Dhaka.
Tenth-grader Habibur Rahman was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital following the incident at around 8.30pm, said Inspector Bachhu Mia of the DMCH police outpost.

He was pronounced dead at around 10.30pm, said the police officer.
Rahman’s elder brother Sohag Hossain said the fall might have been caused by weakness.
