Khilkhet police arrested three suspected robbers with weapons from Banarupa residential area under Khilkhet police station on Monday.
The arrestees are Mohammad Sajib, Mohammad Russell and Mohammad Latif Islam.
Two cleavers and a knife were recovered from their possession during the raid.
Khilkhet police Inspector (investigation) Mohammad Aminul Islam said they were arrested with home-made weapons in a raid in the Banarupa residential area while preparing for the robbery.
A case has been filed against them with Khilkhet police station, said the official.
