A fire has broken out at the Hasina market in Karwan Bazar.
The fire originated around 9:09 pm on Saturday, according to the Fire Service control room.

Eight firefighting units rushed to the scene and managed to put out the flames around 10pm, it said.
However, there was no immediate reports of casualties from the scene.

The fire originated from the tin–shed market, but what caused it has not been ascertained yet, Mahfuz Riven, duty officer at the Fire Service control room headquarter told UNB.
