The 38th virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Gemini Sea Food Limited was held on Thursday.
At the meeting, with the consent of the esteemed shareholders, the report of the Board of Directors on the activities of the company for the year ended on June 30, 2020 was approved.
Additionally, the shareholders approved the re-appointment of directors, the appointment of auditors and corporate governance auditors, according to the Articles of Association.
In addition, the Board of Directors presented a brief overview on the company's operations in the previous year and a report on the coming financial year.
The company also reported a total of Tk36.28 crore of sales or exports. The total profit for the current year has been Tk2.44 crore and the pre-tax loss has been Tk4.04 crore and the post-tax net loss has been Tk4.81 crore.
