A motorcycle rider has been killed after he was runover by a bus in the Bosila area of Mohammadpur, Dhaka on Saturday.
Police have seized the bus, but the driver and helper are on the run.
The deceased was identified as Asif Iqbal Sumon, 28.
Mohammadpur police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Morshed Alam said the bus hit the motorbike in front of Bosila Momtaz Shopping complex around 12pm. The rider died on the spot.
The deceased was taken to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
