Supreme Court lawyer advocate Md Moniruzzaman Lincon sent the notice via email on Monday.

The notice states: “As the global coronavirus epidemic continues to take shape, the most important issue appearing at the moment are medical issues and the protection of those employed. Since it is an infectious virus, it has become urgent to ensure the safety of those who will provide medical care or ancillary services to those affected by the infection.

The notice also refers to the fact that at the moment standard PPEs are very important for those who are engaged in medical services. PPEs are now very essential to secure the safety of people who come in contact with infected persons and also for those who provide services to prevent the spread of the virus.

“Those who are making PPEs at this critical moment must be praised, but it is essential to maintain standards  so that the health of the people who are relentlessly working to stop the spread of the virus is not compromised in any way.”

The notice requests the authorities concerned to take effective measures to control the quality of PPE and its proper use within seven days.
