RAB cracks down on overpricing caused by coronavirus crisis

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has slapped TK2.75 lakh in fines for overcharging for rice in Dhaka.

3 rice sellers have been fined so far.

The drive is being conducted at Babubazar by RAB Executive Magistrate Md Sarwar Alam, starting 9am on Monday.

 The drive is still ongoing.
