Police recovered a teenager’s body buried in a field in Khilgaon’s Shekher Jayga on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Alal Shikdar, 13, who was a battery operated auto rickshaw driver.
Confirming the matter, Khilgaon police station’s SI Ruhul Amin said a group of locals found his body buried in a field and informed the police.
There were injury marks found on several places of Alal’s body including his head, the police official added.
“We have recovered Alal’s rickshaw but they did not find the battery. However, it was not immediately known what caused the murder or who did it. We will need to investigate further.”
